To A Special Dad on Father's Day!

Dad, I know that you are in a better place today and want to share my thoughts with you on Father's Day. You were a very good dad, and husband, and you did the best you can in raising five children. I know that every one of us turn out to be a different person in this world and we are all adults now some of us married, some of us going through difficult times, and some of us still single. Growing up was a difficult challenge for me in my teenage years. I believe that the religion that I was raised in was not for me so I challenge it by discomunicating myself from it. It was a hard decision to do since I knew what the outcome was going to be with not having the love and understanding from my family. I struggled for a long time and still am with not having a close family and the most important thing the unconditional love that I was missing. Now that I am married but struggling with the marriage that I am in after 16 years I still am trying to find the happiness with in myself. I believe hitting my late 40's I finally am looking at all the things that I missed out of growing up. Life is a challenge for everyone no matter what race they are or what back ground they came from. Dad now that I know you are in a better place and resting you can watch me make new challenges in life and find the happiness that I have been looking for. I miss you dad very much. Happy Father's Day.

Love from Becky your daughter.

  1. Becky,

This was a very nice message for your Dad. I'm sure that if he were living that he would be a good listener and want the very best for you. You missed out on alot as a child and life is all about finding ways to make your life better and to escape from those things and people who are disruptive to your goals. You are an individual who cares so much about others and sometimes you just don't get that back in return. I admire you for who you are. Love...DL
